Dr. Stuart Kahn is a pain management specialist who diagnoses and treats painful conditions of the spine not requiring surgery. Through a multi-modality approach, Dr. Kahn assists acute and chronic pain patients with pain management.

Dr. Kahn joined Beth Israel in 1992 as the Physician in charge of the inpatient rehabilitation unit before moving on to lead ambulatory departments in physical medicine and rehabilitation. After becoming a pain management specialist, Dr. Kahn was named Director of Spine Pain & Rehabilitation at the Spine Institute in 1999.Dr. Kahn is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a subspecialty in Pain Management. Dr. Kahn’s foresight in studying acupuncture has expanded options for patients seeking pain management.

Over the past decade, Dr. Kahn has developed extensive expertise in non-operative interventional pain techniques for treatment of painful spine disorders. Dr. Kahn is experienced in pain management techniques such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections and intra-discal procedures.
