The Physicians

The Spine Institute of New York offers excellence in care to each patient, providing the most comprehensive and effective treatments for spine conditions and injuries. Our group is comprised of dedicated and knowledgeable individuals, who work in a team-based provider approach, which places us at the forefront of spine treatment centers.

Spine Surgeons

The surgeons at the Spine Institute of New York are Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship trained in spinal surgery. These surgeons limit their practice exclusively on spine surgery. They have significant research interests in their field, which keeps them up-to-date on technological and clinical breakthroughs. Their backgrounds afford them a vast library of knowledge to draw on when diagnosing your condition and when performing surgery.

Physiatrists

The physiatrists at the Spine Institute of New York are Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Management. Physiatrists are non-surgical physicians who treat chronic and acute pain associated with spine conditions and injuries, which may have caused a loss in functionality. They administer injections for pain management, ensure you are physically and psychologically prepared to handle your recovery process, and coordinate your rehabilitation care.

Fellows

The Spine Institute of New York offers fellowships to doctors who have already completed their training in orthopedics or neurosurgery, but who aim to specialize even further and focus exclusively on the spine. Our Fellows support your care delivery team and act as an extra set of hands and eyes for our spine surgeons and physiatrists.
